It's more than 20 years have past & the "'52's" were given a second chance in life and I am very happy for them.

The sad thing about this story is that the rescuers from Bolinao, are still in their "life boat". They still live in a house that is no bigger than some of your walk-in closets here in the U.S. Their day to day meals are questionable and they don't asked for any handouts from anybody.

Why can't the "52's" or any politicians do something about their situation? Why don't you give them a second chance in life, to live a normal life here in the U.S.

What the Vietnamese government did to put the "52's" in that situation is the same thing that the Philippine government is doing to the rescuers, because of corruptions on all levels of the government.

The "52's" visited the rescuers in Bolinao and they saw the conditions of their rescuers. They did the same thing what was done to them by the crew of the USS Dubuque 20 years ago, give them a HANDOUT.

Sincerely,
